Connections
Connections can be formed between parameters of the same type from two separate modules.
A connection can mean two things:
- modules have been linked together to form a chain of events (rendering)
- one modules' in-parameter is being controlled by the out-parameter value of another module
Creating a connection
- Left-click and drag to form a connection
- During dragging, non-compatible parameter types will now be dimmed
- Compatible parameter types will have a blinking star over them
- Drop the connection (release the mouse button) onto a compatible parameter
Disconnecting a connection
- If there are many connections, to make sure you have positioned the mouse on the correct one, you can left-click to highlight it
- Right-click to bring up the menu.
- Choose "Disconnect"
Special handling of connections
Please read the section on multiple connections in the render data type.
