Slider
A "Slider" controls one float value.
By default, the slider uses an integrating value meaning that the value will be smoothed out. Thus, what you are controlling is a target value which the integration strives towards. You can control the speed of the smoothing ("Smoothness") from the right-click menu.
- The bottom knob controls the floor value - where the value will be when the slider is at the very bottom.
- The top knob controls a distance from the floor knob. So when the slider is at the top position, the value ranges from floor_value to floor_value + distance.
- To change value normally, left-click the slider and drag up/down
- To snap to 0.1, hold down Shift while controlling
- To snap to 0.01, hold down Ctrl while controlling
- To move the controller, click on any gray area where there is no control element and drag it around
- To close the controller, you can left-double-click
